Markir T'al was a Peacekeeper tech who ended up being caught in a prison break. During a weapons test, using live prisoners of subjects, T'al was assigned for one last check on the transport pod to be used in the test. As he was doing this, the prisoners revolted, kidnapping T'al and making off with the transport pod. They managed to escape and were eventually picked up by Moya. On the Leviathan, T'al was placed in one of the old holding cells under the vigilant guard of a DRD.
