William Hew Clark-Kennedy (3 March 1879 – 25 October 1961), was a Canadian recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces. He was 39 years old, and a lieutenant colonel in the 24th Battalion, Canadian Expeditionary Force, during the First World War when the following deed took place for which he was awarded the VC. Clark-Kennedy is buried at Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, Quebec, Canada (Pine Hill Section, Reford Family Plot, Lot 258).
