This assault rifle is a modified M16 that fires .45 caliber pistol rounds from a closed bolt, improving its semi-auto accuracy. Specific ammunition, called Glazer rounds, are used in this weapon. The interior of a Glazer bullet is filled with buckshot sealed by a breakaway plastic cap. This cap bursts upon impact causing the buckshot to tear apart unarmored flesh.
