- R9 introducing himself to Jeden and Nightingale Squad. R9-S1 was an astromech droid created some time around the Stark Hyperspace War. Developing a personality after an incident involving a blaster and a drunk smuggler, R9 had an obsession with helping people, even when they didn't need any, to the point where he would clean hallways with a brush just to make himself feel useful. However, R9 was also excellent at controlling starships, the reason why he was selected as the astromech droid to keep up maintanence on the Saviour, the personal corvette of Jedi Master Jeden Vesal.
