Ervin Pruitt (May 11, 1940 - ) is a former NASCAR driver from Spartanburg, SC. He competed in nine Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning two top-tens. Pruitt's debut came in 1968, when he competed at Bristol. Pruitt was impressive at the short track, simply keeping out of trouble to start 34th and finish 16th. He backed that up the next week, recording a career-best 7th place finish at Weaverville. However, he fell off a bit in the next three races, DNFing once and earning just one top-twenty finish - a 14th place run at Richmond.
