John Burton (born 14th May 1967) has appeared on Coronation Street in two different roles: firstly as DC Cody in March and August 1997 before returning to the programme as a Fire Brigade Watch Commander Trevor Lance following the devastating tram crash in December 2010, the Rovers' fire in March 2013 and the Victoria Court fire in May 2015. His other TV credits include roles in Brookside, Noah's Ark, Dalziel and Pascoe, Cold Feet, Always and Everyone, Clocking Off, The Bill, Mersey Beat, Casualty, Crisis Command, Afterlife, EastEnders and Father Brown.
