American Style Nunchaku is the official name of the nunchaku style founded, practiced, and taught by Michael Burke. It is a martial arts style, incorporating katas, stances, a low grip, and mostly simple or practical techniques. However, some ASN katas meant for competition seem to incorporate a light XMA influence as well. Burke teaches the style through his DVD series called CHAKUS.
