Jääkiekkoleijona (Ice hockey Lion) is the term used to name the players inducted to the Finnish Hockey Hall of Fame. There are currently 172 of them, all being people who helped build ice hockey in Finland to the level it is today, whether by being outstanding players, highly successful coaches, greatly involved builders or any other person who greatly contributed to the developement of hockey in the country. Each inductee earns the above-mentioned title of Jääkiekkoleijona, following which is a number, telling in what order the people have been inducted. By exemple, Reijo Ruotsalainen is Jääkiekkoleijona #122, meaning he was the 122th inductee to the Hall of Fame. It also tells he was inducted in 2000, along with numbers 120 to 126 inclusively.
