The 2008 Ford 200 was a Craftsman Truck Series event held at Homestead-Miami Speedway on November 14, 2008. It was the season finale and what a finale it was. Todd Bodine bookended his victory in the opener with a victory in the closer, passing impressive rookie Brian Scott late and holding off Scott on a green-white-checkered. However, all eyes were on the championship. Johnny Benson, Jr., who only entered the race with a three point lead, seemed to be lagging all night while rival Ron Hornaday, Jr. was running first or second. But a couple of good pit calls by Benson's team positioned him ahead of Hornaday in the final few laps.
