Junty was a Cellarhog of Redwall Abbey. He wore an apron and sometimes played a fiddle. When Badredd and his gang were spying out the Abbey, Junty threw a barrel bung at them; the missile struck Halfchop, causing the rat to forever lose the power of intelligent speech. Later on, while trying to rescue Muggum the Dibbun mole, Junty was shot in the back by Rogg and Floggo; he managed to get the babe inside, but died shortly thereafter.
