Picross 2 is a Game Boy sequel to the game Mario's Picross. It can also be said that Mario's Super Picross for the Super Famicom is also a sequel. The game, despite not baring the Mario label, features characters from the series nonetheless including Mario and Wario. The game features the same gameplay that was present in previous and future games, that involves grid puzzles where, using the numerical clues given, you create an image. Each of the two characters have their own puzzles with their own rules. For example, Mario's puzzles are timed, while Wario's aren't timed but don't tell you when you've made a mistake as Mario's do.
