Percy has told everyone in the Rovers about hearing the budgie in No.4. Rita realises Harry is Boris when Mavis tells Steph that Percy was mistaken. She thinks Mavis ought to return him. Alf suspects Jim of pulling a fast one with the television. Jim fits an outside aerial at the Roberts' house. Audrey wears an evening dress to tempt him. Derek tells Mavis not to worry about Percy, who determines to prove that there's a bird in the Wiltons' house. He washes their windows to spy on them. Audrey is amused by Jim's discomfort at her teasing and stands at the window in her bedroom to give her neighbour the wrong idea.
