The Cult of Herumor was a dark cult that emerged in Gondor in the early fourth Age.The teachings of the cult were held secret but it was believed to have been a Sauronite or Melkorian Cult.The Identity of Herumor remains unsettled, some commentators believe Herumor to be a name or identity of the Dark lord, others presumed that Herumor was the name of the Cult´s secret Leader or perhaps referred to Herumor the Black Númenórean, who was regarded as a black Prophet.
