The Mammoth Space-Car Races are a sporting event that occurs every year on Morass Minor, a planet that belongs to the mammoths of Mammopolis. They were owned by Grandum, who wanted to start building theme parks as well as manage the races, but there wasn't any space left on his planet. To solve this problem, the mammoth dressed up as a pterosaur and travelled to Squawk Major so that he could participate in the Trials and become the planet's High Flapper. However, Teggs disguised himself as Flappo the Fearless so that he could confront Grandum during the climax of The Skies of Fear. Iggy often dreams about beating the raptors in the races, which results in the astrosaurs being chased by a trio of car-driving raptors from the dream in The Dreams of Dread.
