Eagle Talismans act as lives in Turok: Rage Wars. If the player acquires three Eagle Talismans, their lives for all levels in that character's trial is permanently increased to three. This allows the player to get fragged three times on a level and simply respawn, continuing the level. When the player runs out of lives, the match is lost. Some levels reward the player with half of an Eagle Talisman. A half-talisman does not have any effect, but finding a second half-talisman creates a full Eagle Talisman, increasing the player's life count by one.
