Upon going toward the Chasm, the player will travel under the highway used to get to the Southern Valley. The Chasm itself is a round area of rock, possibly created from a piece of Apophis. Next to the entrance of the area is an old Ark now known as Kvasir's Lab. It can only be reached by a Resistance balloon Antonin Kvasir acquired from his work with them.
