Autumn Excellence is an insert set in 1998 Sports Illustrated World Series. The ten-card set features players who have had World Series performances that are legendary. Only one player from 1980-1997 are included, additionally the set is very Yankee-heavy. This set easily could have been expanded to 20 cards, Joe Carter, Bill Mazeroski, Sandy Koufax, Jack Morris, Roberto Clemente, or Johnny Bench would have been easy to include.
