Dardanius Leona Shard (d. after 79 BG) was an alleged Bene Gesserit outcast. She joined the exiles of Aurelius Venport on Praxus III during one of their stops. She befriended Norma Cevna while on Tupile. Her identity, purpose and influence are some of the many mysteries concerning the early Spacing Guild. Probably she provided information that led the Society of Mystic Mariners to discover the navigational use of then-unknown melange. If this is true, then the Bene Gesserit would be aware of the existence of melange about a century before the rest of the humanity.
