2-1B Delta was a masculine-programmed 2-1B surgical droid who initially belonged to the Galactic Empire. While working throughout the military prison system, he developed an aversion to the damage done to organic flesh by Imperial weapons, which eventually prompted him to flee. Once free, the droid took on the "Delta" moniker to show he was not merely a cog in the system.
