Laser Barrels rise up after the player and once they are close by, they extend their antennae and point them at the player, shooting electrical beams from the tops of the spikes. Laser Barrels can be a nuisance when climbing up vertical areas in the stage. If the player stands still, however, the Laser Barrel's shot will miss. They based on the Watchers from Mega Man 1.
