Jackie Downey is an actress, singer and drama/voice tutor who appeared in Coronation Street in May 2007 as Fiona, landlady of The Red Lion pub and friend of Liz McDonald. However her first connection with the programme was from 1985 to 1988 when she played the regular part of Glenys Pike, girlfriend of Cyril McGregor in all four seasons of the Street spin-off The Brothers McGregor. She has appeared in many other television series including The Professionals, Bread, Birds of a Feather and The Bill while on the big screen she was in the 1990 film The Krays.
