BRIGADOON: marin & μελαν(BRIGADOON まりんとメランBurigadōn Marin to Meran) is a science fiction anime produced by the Sunrise company that ran from 2000–2001, and was adapted as a manga by Nozomi Watase. Its story takes place in Japan in 1969; it is about an orphan girl named Marin Asagi who befriends an alien being called Melan Blue. Brigadoon has the same director and character design that worked on The King of Braves GaoGaiGar and Betterman.
