Geric was a Human male in the youth wing of the Commission for Preservation of the New Order (COMPNOR) as of 12 BBY. During his time in the organization, he formed a clique that attacked and intimidated political opponents of Emperor Palpatine, largely ignored by Imperial authorities because they secretly approved of them. However, in 11 BBY, him and some of his followers were found to have criminal ties to the Coruscant underworld, and were reported to the Imperial Security Bureau by Malkor Talinin, a fellow member. Geric and the others were arrested.
