Burning Hearts of Qo'noS was a Klingon novel, described as a "bodice ripper" (or alternately, a "face biter"). It focuses largely on the character Ngara, her suitor Lughor, and the forces of the House of Rutark. During their extended exploratory mission to the Gamma Quadrant, every member of the crew passed around and read a copy of Burning Hearts of Qo'noS, some more enthusiastically than others.
