Kakita Geinin was a soft-spoken older man, in his early forties who lived in Kosaten Shiro. A famed Crane poet and playwright developed material for a play about the Lion Clan's cruelty and lack of enlightenment. With tensions raising with their ancestral enemies, Geinin was very supportive of governor Daidoji Sokazaka's hard-line stance toward the Lion.
