Farmer's market in the morning at Christmas Circle in Borrego Springs, then a leisurely hike up Palm Canyon in 100 degree heat at the state park. After the hike we went to the visitor's center to identified the big lizard we saw (see photo below) and have Amelia complete the Junior Ranger program.
