The Yalta Conference, also known as The Crimea Conference, and code-named The Argonaut Conference, was a meeting between the leaders of The USSR, The USA, and Britain, in order to determine the role of Germany and its occupied countries. The Yalta Conference lasted from Febuary 4-11, 1945, in the Lavadia Palace, near Yalta, Ukraine. The meeting was attended by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, General Secretary Joseph Stalin, and Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Three major decisions were reached during the Yalta Conference:
