Jessie Evans (1st August, 1918 - 2nd March, 1983) was a Welsh actress who played two different roles on Coronation Street, Mrs Cook in 1967, then Megan Hopkins from 1974 to 1975. Prior to these roles she appeared in the Street spin-off Pardon the Expression in 1966. Her other credits include Nearest and Dearest and Z Cars.
