Short Tail was a Sphinxian treecat of the Bright Water Clan. He was the clan's chief scout at the time of Stephanie Harrington's bonding with Climbs Quickly (Lionheart), and supported Sings Truly when she proposed a policy of limited cooperation with humans. (HHA1.1: ABF)
