Johnny Gardner is a former NASCAR driver from Rock Hill, SC. He competed in fourteen Sprint Cup Series events in his career. All of those races came in 1958, when he finished 146th in points. He debuted at Concord, finishing an underwhelming 28th. Unfourtunately, he didn't run well the entire season. Although he finished nine of his fourteen starts, Gardner recorded just five top-twenties. His best finish was an 11th at Charlotte. After finishing the year with two DNFs, Gardner never again returned to the sport.
