The Battle of Delta Serpentis marked the initiation of the Sith Revolution, spearheaded by Darth Trayus. The purpose of the battle was two-fold; it was designed to both build up a fleet for Trayus to use against the Shadow Imperium and as a means to lure Ilan Garuda out of his place of residency. While Trayus was not expecting Garuda to present himself after but one battle, he was confident the following conflicts would grant him the chance to end Ilan's life once and for all.
