The Senate of Kirlawa is the upper chamber of the Kirlawan Parliament The first period of bicameral government lasted from 2316 to 2333. The Senate was established in 2316 by the Senate Act and was abolished as a working institution by the Kirlawan Civil War. The original Senate worked on a proportional representation system. Each province elected a certain amount of senators linked to size.
