Alexander Santos was a Federation civilian and former spouse of USS Cantabrian commanding officer Noah Wrightson, between 2352 and 2366. Wrightson described Santos as "the love of his life -- at the time". Santos made Wrightson feel he was sacrificing too much by following Wrightson from ship to ship to advance Wrightson's career. As time went on, they grew apart, and Santos cited his "sacrifices" as one of the reasons he was leaving Wrightson in 2366. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Isolation")
