Intelligent Systems Co., Ltd is a Nintendo subsidiary development studio located in Kyoto, Japan that was established in 1986. The company is known for having created the Fire Emblem and Nintendo Wars franchises, the Paper Mario RPG series, and numerous other titles. In 2012, staff from Intelligent Systems began working with Atlus to create a crossover title between Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem, with most of the actual design and development being handled by Atlus. The result of this collaboration is Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE.
