Objectivity is a central philosophical concept which has been variously defined by sources. A proposition is generally considered to be objectively true when its truth conditions are met and are "mind-independent"—that is, existing freely or independently from the thoughts of a conscious entity or subject. In a simpler form, Objectivity is the ability to judge fairly, in other words, to accept the implications of the facts at hand whether those results are what we would like them to be or not.
