Faran Kol-Rekali was born on the Kaloskagathia after the conclusion of the Xenovore War. Although he spent shore leave planetside with one or both of his parents from time to time, for the most part his home was the Kalos. Faran accompanied his family to Onderon and became a formal member of the Jedi Order. As one of his father's apprentices, he hunted Vahla pirates along with Certh and Kali Skywalker. Later, he participated in the founding of the Temple of the Current. He was killed there by Siriss Cortann, while defending his friends Temap and Ashin Varanin.
