Magicka is one of the three major attributes in The Elder Scrolls Online, alongside Health and Stamina. Magicka is consumed when you are using magic for both attacking or defending. Magicka is used for all class skills and abilities, regardless of class. Magicka also effects Destruction Staff and Restoration Staff abilities. Magicka also impacts the effectivenees of Magicka based skills and abilities, ie. higher Max Magicka can increase damage and duration of active spells.
