Alison Bayley played a Waitress in an April 1961 episode of Coronation Street. Her other roles include parts in the BBC's 1959 adaptation of Arnold Bennett's Hilda Lessways (which co-starred Violet Carson as Auntie Hamps), Armchair Theatre, No Hiding Place and Z Cars. Also within the history of Coronation Street, she played the part of Minnie Caldwell in the dry run of Episode 3, recorded in the summer of 1960, but was eventually passed over in favour of Margot Bryant.
