The Seven Kingdoms of Karanda (Delchin, Ganesia, Jenno, Katakor, Pallia, Voresbo, and Zamad) were petty kingdoms and vassal states of the Mallorean Empire that lay in the northeast of Mallorea. The River Magan originated in Katakor, and was also fed by Lake Karanda via the River Jenn. It was the longest river in the world. The Karand people were among those (along with the Morindim, Melcenes, and Dals) who were called the Godless Ones. They were stereotyped as uneducated and backward, and demon-worship still thrives in some areas during the time of King Belgarion of Riva.
