Grover's Bad Dream is a 1990 Sesame Street storybook featuring Grover. It's Big Bird's birthday and Herry, Cookie Monster, Prairie Dawn, the Count, Barkley, Ernie, Bert, Susan and Gordon all gather for a surprise party. Grover enjoys being with all of his friends for the celebration, but he begins to feel unnoticed and left out when Big Bird gets all the attention on his special day. When Big Bird and Grover tie in a game of pin-the-tail-on-the-cat, Big Bird gets the prize. When everyone gets party hats, Big Bird gets the crown. Grover hopes to get the piece of birthday cake with the pink rose on it, but Big Bird gets the first piece and chooses that.
