It consists of four tower blocks. It was known originally as the Glover Street project and was built in two stages; the first, approved in 1964, consisted of three 17-storey towers and the second, approved in 1965, consisted of one further 17-storey tower. An extensive refurbishment of all the tower blocks was completed in 2011.
