The refa is an insect native to Telios Prime. Demonstrating very social behaviour, the refa builds large colonies within the drier regions of the planet. These insects have in the past caused tremendous damage to crops and have been classified as a pest by most Telian farmers. A common solution that has been in use for centuries is to spray crops with a very diluted solution of telasrin sap, which removes present refa and their eggs, as welll as preventing them from returning to the plant.
