Baron Dieter von Waldheim is an elderly black mage and the present head of the House of Waldheim as well as the Baron of Fragnar from which his family hails. Since the Second Great War broke out, he's been travelling with the Grand Alliance, hoping to find knowledge of a cure to the dreaded Blood Fever after it took his wife Luthien Bitterleaf and daughter Freyja von Waldheim from him.
