The EDF Central Command in the north of the Eos sector of Mars was the main seat of power of the Earth Defense Force up to their defeat in the Second Martian Revolution. The Raid on the EDF Central Command by Red Faction insurgents and Marauders bought an effective end to the Battle of Eos.
