Tosaō is one of the greatest fighting dogs in Japan who very few dogs have faced in combat, due to his advanced skills he only fights the very best fighting dogs including Seiran. In the Shiro Senshi Yamato manga he is not a major character and isn't very important to the overall storyline but is mentioned throughout the manga because of his famous reputation.
