Dimensional Developments was a research company funded by Pyramid Deliveries, which in turn funded the Institute of Extraspatial Studies. Janey Slater, Wally Weaver and Moloch were all employees of the firm. All of them later suffered cancer. Dimensional Deveopments clearly did all the research concerning teleportation, ultimately triggering the alien monster.
