Chief Kuwabara (桑腹主任 Kuwabara Shunin) is a character in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions. He leads research and development at KaibaCorp. He is unnamed in the manga. In Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions, the KaibaCorp researchers are named after members of the film's animation staff, including Chief Kuwabara, who is named after Satoshi Kuwabara. His anime and Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom counterparts are Engineer A and Scott Irvine.
