Distortion Shield (ディストーションシールド Disutōshon Shīrudo) is a ceremonial spell cast by Lindy Harlaown in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. It is a wide-area defense by distorting the space dimension, used against large scale destruction. Such distortion may also be seen as a [[:Special:Ask/-5B-5BCategory:Spells-5D-5D-20-5B-5Bspell-20category::-5D-5D|force field]]. As it requires substantial amount of mana to distort the dimension, it is nearly impossible for a mage to cast the spell on one's own.
