The USS Brunel (NCC-61889) was a Saber-class Federation starship in service in the 24th century. The Brunel was one of several ships assigned to the Starfleet Corps of Engineers during the 2370s. In 2374 the ship was commanded by Captain Geiring. (Star Trek: The Adventures of Argus) Named for the famed British Engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
