Karen Khachatryan (b. ? - d. September 16th 2009 near Erzincan, Turkey) was President of the Armenian Ice Hockey Federation. Khachatryan died on September 16th 2009, along with his wife Gayane, their son Levon, Denis Davidov (Vice-President of the Georgian Ice Hockey Federation), Lasha Tsagareishvili (General Secretary) and his wife Teo. The six were driving to Istanbul, Turkey to catch a flight for Tunis, Tunisia, where was held the IIHF semi-annual congress they were expected to attend.
